Meet Dr. Mamdooh Alzyood

Dr. Mamdooh Alzyood is a senior lecturer in public health, with a profound dedication to healthcare studies and infection control. With a PhD in Health Care Studies from Oxford Brookes University. Dr. Alzyood’s work focuses on patient involvement in hand hygiene, infection control practices, and public health education. His extensive research and practical experience have been published in peer-reviewed journals, contributing significantly to the field of public health.

Professional Background:

  • PhD in Health Care Studies: Specialising in patient involvement in hand hygiene and infection control.
  • MSc in Infection Prevention & Control: Distinction in dissertation on infection prevention curriculum for students in healthcare settings.
  • Senior Lecturer: Teaching modules on communicable diseases, public health promotion, MSc and BSc dissertations, study skills for healthcare professionals, and advanced research design.
  • Researcher and Consultant: Leading and collaborating on various public health research projects.
